Case Management and Referral Services
Case management and referral support is available for all students seeking to connect to mental health support and resources in the greater community. We offer assistance by linking students with providers for a wide range of services, including the following:
- Individual therapy
- Relationship therapy
- Group therapy
- Support groups
- Psychiatric services
- Inpatient and/or Intensive Outpatient treatment programs
- Detoxification programs
- Pregnancy services
- Medical/dental services
- Obtaining basic needs (housing, food, etc.)
Case management services take into consideration a student's access to health insurance (or lack thereof), transportation, and clinical need. Assistance is also provided in linking students with services in their hometown or moving destination to ensure continuity of care over breaks from school or following graduation/exiting VCU.
